What to Pack

Please ensure you bring all personal daily necessities, as many Malaysian hotels — particularly budget and mid-range
properties — do not provide disposable toiletries. Essential items include lightweight, breathable clothing for Malaysia’s year-round tropical heat and humidity, one light long-sleeve layer for cooler indoor
environments (air-conditioned malls, vehicles, and venues can be quite cold), modest attire that covers shoulders and knees for temple and mosque visits, a lightweight waterproof jacket and comfortable,
non-slip footwear for rainforest excursions or if traveling during the rainy season (November–January), high-SPF sunscreen and skincare products in containers of 100ml or less, insect repellent, and any
personal or habitual medications.

Please note that Malaysia is a tropical country with warm, humid weather year-round — UV exposure is intense,
especially in coastal and highland areas. Sun protection is strongly recommended at all times outdoors. Sunglasses, sunscreen, a sun-protective outer layer, a portable charger, and a fully charged mobile
phone are also highly recommended.

Required Documents

  1. A valid passport with a remaining validity of at least 6 months and 2 or more blank pages.
  2. Your e-visa or visa approval letter (electronic copy accepted), valid for the duration of your
stay. (Travelers from countries eligible for Malaysia’s visa-exempt policy are exempt from this requirement.)
  3. Your hotel booking confirmation — we will send this to you in the concierge group chat the day before departure.
  4. Sufficient cash — Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) is recommended for local transactions. Major credit cards are widely accepted at hotels, shopping malls, and tourist areas. ATMs are readily available throughout Kuala Lumpur and Malacca.
  5. Other essentials: Sunglasses, sunscreen, a sun-protective outer layer, personal skincare products, a portable charger, and a fully charged mobile phone.
